The Compass For Your Cause Program allows  (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter members to support the chapter by doing something many of you do virtually every day—use your check card for everyday purchases. And it's easy for you to get started. 

Tell your BBVA branch to:   

Add the following Affinity Code 103151 to your  account

  • Open a BBVA Compass Checking Account*
  • Open a Compass Visa® Check Card*
  • Sign for purchases using the Check Card

That's all there is to it. When you open an account, the chapter earn a royalty of $50.  Every time you use your Check Card for qualifying purchases††, the chapter cam earn additional royalties. So start earning money the easy way with the Compass For Your Cause program.

*Accounts and check cards subject to approval. $25 minimum opening deposit required. Organization member must make 5 transactions (deposits, checks, online bill payments, ACH transactions or check card purchases) within first 60 days of opening the checking account in order for the organization to qualify for royalty payments. Organization member must be a resident of AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, NM or TX and must be at least 18 years of age (19 in AL) to qualify.


† Royalties will begin accumulating immediately upon opening of a new checking account. Accumulated royalties will be deposited into the organization's Compass checking account 60 days after opening of organization member account. After the initial deposit, royalties from checking accounts will be deposited into the organization's account on a monthly basis.


††A "Qualifying Purchase" is any signature-based purchase, Internet purchase, phone or mail-order purchase, bill payment, contactless purchase (purchases made by holding your Visa card or other device up to a secure reader instead of swiping your card), or small dollar purchase for which you are not required to sign, made with an enrolled Visa card, which is processed or submitted through the Visa U.S.A. Inc. payment system. A Qualifying Purchase does not include a purchase made using a Personal Identification Number (PIN) or purchase you initiate through identification technology that substitutes for a PIN.

Code

All information systems security professionals who are certified by (ISC)² recognize that such certification is a privilege that must be both earned and maintained. In support of this principle, all (ISC)² members are required to commit to fully support this Code of Ethics (the "Code"). (ISC)² members who intentionally or knowingly violate any provision of the Code will be subject to action by a peer review panel, which may result in the revocation of certification. (ISC)² members are obligated to follow the ethics complaint procedure upon observing any action by an (ISC)2 member that breach the Code. Failure to do so may be considered a breach of the Code pursuant to Canon IV.

There are only four mandatory canons in the Code. By necessity, such high-level guidance is not intended to be a substitute for the ethical judgment of the professional.

Code of Ethics Preamble:

  • Safety of the commonwealth, duty to our principals, and to each other requires that we adhere, and be seen to adhere, to the highest ethical standards of behavior.
  • Therefore, strict adherence to this Code is a condition of certification.


Code of Ethics Canons:

  • Protect society, the commonwealth, and the infrastructure.
  • Act honorably, honestly, justly, responsibly, and legally.
  • Provide diligent and competent service to principals.
  • Advance and protect the profession.

To remain in good standing as a member of (ISC)² a credential holder must:

  • Abide by the (ISC)² Code of Ethics
  • Obtain and submit the required Continuing Professional Education credits (CPEs)
  • Submit Annual Maintenance Fees (AMFs) upon receipt of annual invoices

Membership Dues:

Yearly dues for membership to the (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter are:

  • (ISC)2 members in good standing $30/year
  • Non-(ISC)2 members (e.g., students) $50/year
  • Corporate member rate $20/year
      (must have minimum 20 (ISC)2 members sign up to get this rate)
  • Attend a single meeting/event $25/event
