Summary:  Are you good at pen testing and would like to teach others? Do you know how to detect, analyze, and report on the latest malware threats? Or do you have the skills, ideas, and techniques to protect systems and networks that you want to share with your peers? If so, sign up to present on September 7th as (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter hosts the Red Team vs. Blue Team event. Watch, learn, and interact with other Information Security professionals as we spend the afternoon teaching the latest threats and actions being taken against systems as well as defensive actions helpful in use against adversaries.

The (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter is looking for volunteers to give four 45 minute training sessions throughout the afternoon to Chapter members and non-members. The training sessions will be held from:

Session Time
 Session A 12:30 to 1:15 PM
 Break 1:15 to 1:30 PM
 Session B 1:30 to 2:15 PM
 Break 2:15 to 2:30 PM
 Session C 2:30 to 3:15 PM
 Break  3:15 to 3:30 PM
 Session D 3:30 to 4:15 PM
Conference Ends 4:15 PM

Event Details:  The Red Team vs. Blue Team event will be held on Friday, September 7th, 2018 at Rio Salado Conference Center.  Speakers will have 45 minutes to present during each session.   Attendees will select from 5 to 6 speaker topics for each session.  Each Session is limited to 20 attendees.    Admission is $30 for attendees, free for speakers.

Submission Deadline:  August 10, 2018. Speakers will be notified if they are selected to present by August 13th, 2018.  Speakers are invited to apply from both public and private sectors as well as vendors.  Questions regarding the event can be submitted to This email address is being protected from spambots. Selection:  The (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter will review and select speakers to present at the event. Speakers can submit their presentation proposal for review to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Deadline for submission of proposals is 6:00 p.m. on August 10th, 2018.  Evaluation and selection will be completed by August 13th, 2018 and will be based on:

Speaker's previous presentation experience
Presentation Topic
Presentation Length

Speaker Compensation:  The (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter is a non-profit organization providing education, networking, and professional relationship building to local Information Security professionals. Speakers will be recognized for their expertise, given an opportunity to share their experience, as well as opportunities to network and collaborate with other industry professionals.

Event speakers will be recognized on the (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter website and promotional materials.  Event speakers are not subject to the event enrollment fee.  The (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter does not compensate nor reimburse speakers for any costs associated with their participation in the event including any travel, meal or lodging costs they may incur.
